Nkoranza South MP Crowned ‘Nkosuohene’ of Akuma
Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, Member of Parliament for Nkoranza South Constituency, has been honored as ‘Nkosuohene’ (Development Chief) of Akuma, a suburb of Nkoranza, in recognition of his hard work, integrity, and development brought to the people of Akuma.
The Chiefs and people of Akuma Traditional area bestowed the title on him during his thank you tour at Akuma.
The queen mother of Akuma, Nana Agyeiwaa-Kodie II, praised Hon. Agyekum’s selfless service and development initiatives, stating, “The whole of Akuma is impressed with your hard work and selfless service to us.”

Hon. Kwadwo Agyekum, a Minister of State in charge of special initiatives, has already been installed as “Sompahene” of the Nkoranza Traditional Council for his leadership and development initiatives.
Hon. Agyekum thanked the chiefs and people of Akuma for the honor and promised to continue contributing to the development of Akuma.
“I remain your MP as far as development will concern you, to continue contributing to the development of Akuma, and I assure to support in every capacity I can,” he said.
