“MP Hon Patricia Appiagyei Urges Ghanaians to Unite Against Galamsey”
Asokwa – Hon. Patricia Appiagyei, the current Member of Parliament for Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti region has called on Ghanaians to take collective action against galamsey illegal mining, emphasizing that it’s a social responsibility for all citizens.
Speaking during Archbishop Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye’s pastoral visit to Christ the King Parish-Ahinsan,Hon Patricia Appiagyei was tasked by the Archbishop to collaborate in the fight against galamsey.
She urged citizens not to point fingers at others but rather work together to combat the menace.
“Do not point fingers as to who is doing galamsey… it’s our social responsibilities as citizens to fight against galamsey and illegal mining,” she stressed.
