Moree Gets New Chief: Nana Adzikese XI Gazetted After Years of Dispute.

After a prolonged period of intense legal disputes and traditional contestation, Nana Adzikese XI has finally been gazetted as the legitimate Odikro of Moree in the Abura Asebu Kwamakesse District, Central Region.

The gazette publication confirms his status as the traditional ruler of Moree, serving the Abura Asebu Traditional Area.

The gazetting was met with widespread celebrations across the township, with traditional rituals held in honor of the new chief. In his address to the people, Nana Adzikese XI called for peace, unity, and promised to rule with a Godly leadership. He also admonished his people to desist from curses and negative comments.

Some chiefs and residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude and welcome to the new chief, Nana Adzikese XI, marking a new chapter in the town’s history.

The gazetting is expected to bring stability and progress to the district, which had been stalled due to the prolonged dispute over the legitimate Odikro of Moree.
