“Mental Health Team Educates Students on Mental Wellness and Drug Abuse”
A mental health team from the Michael Kyei Baffour Psychiatric Mental Health Unit at Abofour Health Center in Offinso South Municipal visited Offinso Abrokyire M/A Junior High School to educate 95 students on mental health, early warning signs of mental illness, causes of mental illness, and drug abuse and its effects among students.
Our team aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of mental health and mental illness, and to educate them on mental health and drug abuse within their local communities.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to provide comprehensive health education to every school in the municipality and beyond.
As we are engaging with students at a young age, Michael Kyei Baffour Psychiatric Mental Health Unit urged to hopes to promote mental wellness and prevent mental health issues.
