Lawson Afisem Supports New Mothers at Komfo Anokye Hospital
Lawson Afisem, hosted by Maame Frimpomaa Korankye and crew, has extended a helping hand to new mothers at Komfo Anokye Hospital in Kumasi.
As part of their one-year anniversary celebrations, they paid medical bills for seven women who delivered but couldn’t afford the costs.
Maame Frimpomaa Korankye emphasized the challenges of motherhood, stating that the inability to pay hospital bills adds to the difficulty.
“Delivery without getting money to discharge to go home makes it more difficult,” she said.
Maame Frimpomaa Korankye Host of Lawson Afisem expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors who made the donation possible, particularly her proud listeners, without whom Lawson Afisem wouldn’t be standing strong.
She acknowledged the significant role they played in supporting the initiative, helping new mothers at Komfo Anokye Hospital in Kumasi breathe a sigh of relief.
Joana Adomah Afrifa, a social worker at Komfo Anokye Hospital, thanked Lawson Afisem for their kindness and appealed to the public to support others in similar situations.
The beneficiaries also expressed their gratitude for the generous support.
