Lakeside Amakom Hosts Annual Homecoming to Boost Community Development.
Bosomtwe, Ashanti Region – The people of Lakeside Amakom in the Bosomtwe District have organized their annual end-of-year homecoming, with a focus on community development.
Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II, Akokofe Krontihene, represented Akokofehene, Nana Osako Adu Panin II, and urged the youth to prioritize healthy relationships.

He expressed concern over premature deaths among young people, often linked to unhealthy relationships.
“If you’re a youth and know you don’t love your partner, don’t entertain them – it’s leading to curses and shortened lives,” he advised.
Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II also pleaded with Ghanaian youth to say NO to drugs .

“Drug abuse can have severe, long-lasting consequences for young people,” he warned, highlighting impacts on health, academics, relationships, and future opportunities.
Given the adolescent brain develops until mid-20s, substance use is especially risky.
He was accompanied by the Akokofe Krontihemaa Nana Abena Boahemaa and Sub chiefs of Akokofe
The event aimed to refocus the community on development and positive values.
