A massive structure in the heart of Accra is undergoing a transformation to serve as the campaign base for Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong Ing, former Senior Special Adviser to the NPP’s 2024 flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

This development intensifies speculation that Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong is poised to join the race for the party’s presidential flagbearership ahead of the crucial January 2026 primaries.

The move comes in the wake of the NPP’s historic 2024 electoral loss, which has triggered deep introspection within the party.

Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong anticipated candidacy is being cast as a return to the NPP’s ideological roots, building his campaign around themes of discipline, reform, and integrity.

Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong credentials are hard to ignore, with a career bridging the party’s foundational past with its uncertain present.

“The party needs a reset,”Ing. Kwabena Agyei  Agyepong  warned in a 2024 interview. “We’ve drifted far from our founding ideals of sacrifice and service. Factionalism and monetization have taken over.

That must change.”

Party insiders say Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong isn’t just running for office — he’s vying to rescue the party’s soul. “Kwabena is not just campaigning for power,” a senior NPP figure said.

“He is campaigning for the survival and moral rebirth of the party.”

As January 2026 approaches, the battle lines are forming. The question remains: Will delegates embrace reform over rhetoric, and principle over populism? One thing is certain —Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong  is leading a revolution within the elephant family.
