“I’ll Support NPP’s Chosen Flagbearer” – Kwabena Agyapong Pledges Unity
Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, a hopeful presidential aspirant, has vowed to support whoever the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates elect as the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
Despite his confidence in winning the presidential primaries, Agyapong emphasized the importance of unity within the party.
Agyapong pledged to give his full support to the person elected by the delegates, demonstrating his commitment to party unity.
He expressed optimism about winning the primaries, stating that he will work hard to convince the 300,000 delegates to vote for him.
Agyapong also urged supporters who may lose the elections to rally behind the party’s chosen candidate, emphasizing that it’s not the end of their political careers.
“I think all of us supported Dr. Bawumia. It doesn’t mean that our political careers have come to an end,” he said.
“This is a new electoral cycle, and by the grace of God, I’m the first person to declare my intention to run.”
Agyapong’s declaration highlights his desire to lead the party and the country.
As the first person to declare his intention to run, he is setting the stage for a potentially competitive primary election.
His message of unity and support for the party’s chosen candidate aims to foster a positive and collaborative environment within the NPP.
