Ghanaian Youths Protest Against Foreigners’ Criminal Activities.
The Concerned Youth of Ghana organized a massive street protest to raise awareness about the growing concern of criminal activities in the country, particularly those involving certain groups of foreigners.
The group cited incidents of kidnapping, killing, and other illicit activities allegedly perpetrated by some Nigerians in Ghana.
The protesters emphasized the need for immediate action to address these activities and ensure the safety and security of Ghanaians.
They also expressed concerns about a recent video featuring an individual claiming to be the “King of the People” and wanting to create a kingdom in Ghana, which they believe goes against the country’s laws and constitution.
The group stressed that any community or individual seeking to operate in Ghana must do so within the framework of the country’s laws and customs.
They pointed out that even foreign communities in Ghana, such as the Liberian and Nigerian communities, operate collectively under their national identities rather than seeking autonomy.
The protesters also raised concerns about the potential for divisiveness and undermining of national unity, should the individual’s claim to represent a particular tribe and create a kingdom be allowed to proceed.
The Concerned Youth of Ghana are calling on the authorities to take immediate action to address these concerns and ensure that foreigners operating in Ghana do not engage in criminal activities that threaten the safety and security of Ghanaians.
