Ghana Freedom Party Presidential Candidate Condemns Electoral Violence in Ablekuma North

Philip Kwabena Agyeman Appiah Kubi, the presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party, has strongly condemned the violence and disturbances that occurred during the recent elections in Ablekuma North.

In a statement released from his office, Kubi expressed his deep concern over the chaos and mayhem that broke out at 19 polling stations in the area.

“Violence has no place in our electoral process,” Kubi emphasized. “No one—man, woman, or youth—should ever feel threatened when exercising their constitutional right to vote.”

He urged all citizens to remain calm and stay away from violence, choosing instead to promote peace and unity.

Kubi also called on the security agencies to investigate the incidents and bring those responsible to justice, ensuring maximum protection at polling stations to guarantee safe and free voting.

“Ghana is bigger than any political party,” Kubi said. “Our peace is our power. Let us choose peace. Let us choose unity. Let us choose Ghana.”

The statement concluded with a message of hope for Ablekuma North and Ghana, praying for peace to prevail now and always.
