Four Police Officers Promoted for Bravery in Asiyaw Murder Case.
The Ghana Police Service has elevated four officers from the Western Central Regional Command for their professionalism and dedication in a high-profile criminal investigation.

The officers which has been promoted are:
– No. 47459 G/Sgt. Fetus Gameli Kukuia to Inspector
– No. 52192 G/Cpl. Christian Asare to Sergeant
– No. 52441 G/Cpl. Nicholas Kingsley Amoah to Sergeant
– No. 59947 G/Const. Adam Yakubu to Lance Corporal.
According to a statement from the Police Administration, the promotions are in honor of the police officers’ exemplary conduct, vigilance, and commitment to roles.

The Inspector-General of Police praised the officers, stating that the recognition is part of efforts to reward exceptional service within the force.

The officers were recognized for their role in arresting three armed suspects linked to a murder case in Asiyaw.
On April 30, 2025, the officers intercepted the suspects on a bus and recovered a submachine gun and ammunition.
