Five Suspects Arrested for Armed Robbery at Dompim Mining Site
The Western Central Regional Police Command has apprehended five suspects in connection with an armed robbery incident at a mining site in Dompim, Western Region.
The suspects allegedly attacked the site, robbing workers of gold concentrate amidst gunfire.
One suspect, Akwasi Abban, was arrested at the scene, while others escaped. Abban implicated site foreman Ebenezer Soore, who was subsequently arrested.

Three additional suspects, Elijah Arthur (alias Possible), Elisha Arthur (alias Skonzy), and David Agyarko (alias Big Man), were arrested on June 2, 2025.

All five suspects have been arraigned before court and remanded into prison custody. The police investigation is ongoing.
