A 45-year-old farmer, Kwabena Asiedu, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his 18-year-old daughter, Susana Asiedu, over her pregnancy in Sefwi Tanoso Praso, Western North Region.
Incident Details
Susana, a hairdressing apprentice, claimed her father confronted her about her five-month pregnancy while she was still in training.
The argument escalated, and Kwabena Asiedu allegedly stabbed her multiple times with a kitchen knife.
Aftermath
Susana was rushed to the Bibiani Government Hospital after losing consciousness.
Kwabena Asiedu fled the scene but was later arrested and is currently in police custody.
Authorities have assured that he will face prosecution.
