“Father Arrested for Allegedly Beating 10-Year-Old Daughter to Death in Antwima Akropong”
A shocking incident has occurred in Antwima Akropong, in the Antwima Nwabiegya North district, where a 10-year-old girl, Maabena, died allegedly due to injuries sustained from a beating by her father, Yaw Nsiah.
According to reports, the incident happened when the young girl visited a family member with whom her father has a long-standing dispute.
Nsiah allegedly beat the child, who later complained of chest pains and was rushed to the Akropong hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The father attempted to conduct a secret burial but was arrested by the Antwima Akropong police and subsequently handed over to the Central Police Station in Kumasi. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the child’s death
