Father Allegedly Beats 14-Year-Old Son Over Missing Key
A disturbing incident has been reported in Diabene, within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region, where a father allegedly subjected his 14-year-old son, Kelvin, to a brutal beating over a missing key.
The boy sustained severe injuries, including multiple wounds and serious head trauma.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as distressing, prompting residents to call for immediate action from the authorities. The suspect, a taxi driver, has been arrested and is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
According to reports, the driver had entrusted his son with a key to their room, but after the boy misplaced it, he assaulted him.

The victim sought refuge with a neighbor, who subsequently informed other opinion leaders in the area, took the boy to the hospital, and reported the incident to the Sekondi Police Station, leading to the man’s arrest.
