Family Féud:Ghana Black Stars player Edwin Gyimah’s Sister Reaches Out to Auntie Naa for Resolution Over Disputed Property
Kumasi-Ashanti Region, April 11, 2026_ Fresh developments have emerged in the ongoing family dispute involving former Black Stars defender Edwin Gyimah, as his sister Felicia Gyimah appeals for an amicable settlement through popular media personality Auntie Naa.
Speaking on _Oyerepa Afutuo_ on Friday, April 10, 2026, host Eunice Naa Amerley Nortey, widely known as Auntie Naa, revealed that Felicia contacted her team seeking reconciliation after Gyimah’s earlier appearance on the show.
According to Auntie Naa and a panel member on the programme, Felicia and her family have rendered an apology for comments made during Thursday’s heated exchanges and are now requesting a face-to-face meeting to resolve the issue.
“Felicia says she and her family want to come and meet Aunty Naa and her people. They have apologised for how Felicia spoke yesterday. She admitted that she did not speak well,” the panel disclosed on air.
The family’s plea comes amid a public rift centered on the ownership of an eight-bedroom house. Edwin Gyimah had previously taken his grievances to _Oyerepa Afutuo_, alleging he was being sidelined by relatives.
Auntie Naa reiterated that her priority is to mediate and bring closure to the matter. “Don’t throw us out, let’s meet and solve it borkoorrr,” Felicia was quoted as telling the host, using the Twi expression _borkoorrr_ to signal urgency and a call for calm dialogue.
The Oyerepa Afutuo crew host has now extended an open invitation to Edwin Gyimah to return to the programme for a joint session with his sister and other family members. The goal, she said, is to ensure transparency and a lasting resolution to the property dispute.
Neither Edwin Gyimah nor other family members have issued a public statement following Felicia’s outreach. The date for the proposed meeting has not yet been announced.
Oyerepa Afutuo_ airs weekdays on Oyerepa FM/TV and Promise Tv/Radio has become a key platform for conflict resolution and social intervention in Ghana.
