Obuasi Abompe Killing: Family Demands Justice Over Death of 24-Year-Old TikToker

The family of Charlotte Obeng, a 24-year-old lady shot dead at Obuasi Abompe, is calling for swift justice over her killing.

The incident happened on November 19, 2025, at the residence of her alleged boyfriend, Sylvester Sowah, who has admitted to shooting her three times in the neck.

Charlotte, known to friends as Bigest Abena, was a trader and active TikToker.

Her family claims that despite providing necessary evidence, the case is progressing slowly, raising concerns about justice and fairness.

The family has appealed to the Ashanti South Police Command, Bekwai District Court, and the Attorney General to intervene and expedite the case.

Mr. Akwasi Addai, the deceased’s grandfather, expressed frustration over the pace of the investigation.

Some family members have warned of retaliation if the suspect is granted bail, urging stakeholders to ensure justice is served swiftly.
