E/R. SNAKES ARE WIPPING UP THE PEOPLE OF DWARF ISLAND IN AFRAM PLAIN
The people of dwarf island in the Kwahu Afam plains North are dying from snake bite due to lack of clinic or hospital.
Every week someone has to die from a snake bite because there is no hospital or clinic in the Dwarf island to serve the people, the person dies on the way by the time he or she is being transported for about 6 to 10 hours to Donkorkrom presbitarian or to oti Region hospital through snake bite or during labor.
Upon hearing the bad news, The Church of Pentecost has taken it upon itself to build Ultra modern clinic at Dwarf Island.
Prophet Victor Asante Darko, Area Head for The Church of Pentecost Afram Plains area, has cut the sod for the commencement of the building of a clinic at Galilia on the Dwarf Island.
The clinic, once completed, will serve communities within the Dwarf Island and will be a major referral center for cases on the Island.
The news for the construction of a clinic on the Dwarf Island was greeted with joy by the people, who pledged their commitment towards the project.
A colourful ceremony took place and was graced by Chiefs and representatives from all the communities.
