Don’t engage military and police in combat– Mustapha Gbande to Manso residents.
The Deputy Director in charge of operations at the presidency Mustapha Gbande has asked the residents of Manso not to engage the military and the police in combat over recent disagreements.
Addressing the residents of Manso Bonteso in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region, Mustapha Gbande said any move by the civilians, to retaliate will cause more havoc to them.
It is thus urging the residents to rather consider a peaceful resolution other than a combat with the security force.
“He appeals to the residents to desist from any attempt to engage the military and the police in combat, since that will be catastrophic on the part of the civilians.
“We should therefore be charting a peaceful roadmap. He said,
“Meanwhile, arrangements are being made by the Ashanti Regional security council (REGSEC) to engage the good people of Manso with the aim of bringing down the tension in the area.
