DEADLY CRASH ON OFFINSO-ABOFUOR TECHIMAN HIGHWAY CLAIMS ONE LIFE, INJURES SEVERAL

A horrific accident occurred on the Offinso-Abofour Techiman Highway between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm, involving a Sprinter bus carrying passengers from Techiman to Kumasi.

According to eyewitnesses, the sprinter collided with a damaged car with passengers at Abofour, resulting in one person losing his  life and several others sustaining critical injuries.

The injured are receiving emergency treatment at St. Patrick’s Hospital and nearby facilities.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of offinso-Asempanaye, and the injured include several passengers on the sprinter.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but preliminary reports suggest that the damaged car may have been a contributing factor.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many calling for increased safety measures on Ghana’s highways especially Techiman Highway.
