CIMAF and Justice Dennis Adjei Champion Education with Timely Intervention at Afua Kobi Ampem Girls SHS
In a strong demonstration of corporate and individual commitment to education, CIMAF Ghana Limited, in collaboration with a Supreme Court judge Justice Sir Dennis Adjei, has extended critical support to Afua Kobi Ampem Girls Senior High School at Tabuom in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.
The intervention, which comes at a crucial time for the school, is expected to significantly boost ongoing infrastructure projects aimed at improving teaching and learning conditions.
CIMAF, a leading player in Ghana’s cement manufacturing industry, donated several bags of cement to assist in the completion of stalled construction works within the school.
The donation forms part of the company’s broader corporate social responsibility agenda, which prioritizes support for education and community development.
Speaking to the media, the Deputy General Manager for Sales and Marketing at CIMAF, Joseph Kobina Aboo, explained that the company responded promptly to a request from the school’s management, recognizing the urgent need to support infrastructure expansion.
He reiterated CIMAF’s dedication to contributing meaningfully to the development of educational institutions, emphasizing that investing in education is a strategic pathway to national growth.
In a complementary gesture, Justice Dennis Adjei also made a notable financial contribution to the school to facilitate the purchase of sand for the construction works.
His support underscores the growing involvement of key public figures in advancing educational development beyond their official duties.
The combined intervention is expected to accelerate the completion of key projects, including a storey building and a summer hut, which are essential to easing congestion and providing additional learning space for students.
Management of Afia Kobi Girls SHS has lauded both CIMAF and Justice Adjei for their generosity and foresight, describing the support as a major boost to the school’s development agenda.
