Catholic Priest Offers Guidance on Navigating Adversity.
Rev. Fr. Michael Owusu Kwarteng, the Catholic Archdiocesan Youth Chaplain, delivered an inspiring sermon during the opening ceremony of the AGCM at Santasi Christian Village.
In his message, Fr. Kwarteng emphasized the importance of perseverance in faith, reflection, and meditation, and prioritizing one’s relationship with God.
According to Fr. Kwarteng, young people should not be dismayed by challenges, but instead, seek God’s guidance and purpose for their lives.
He cited the example of John the Baptist, who understood God’s will and purpose for his life, as a source of inspiration.
Fr. Kwarteng also cautioned that following one’s own will, rather than God’s, can lead to suffering, and emphasized the importance of prioritizing one’s relationship with God.
He encouraged young people to put God first in their lives, regardless of their circumstances, to find strength, hope, and guidance in the face of adversity.
Fr. Kwarteng’s words offer valuable insights and encouragement for young people navigating life’s challenges.
