CATHOLIC PRIEST ATTENDS TRADITIONAL ENSTOOLMENT CEREMONY JUST DAYS BEFORE PASSING AWAY
Obuasi, Ghana – The Catholic Diocese of Obuasi is mourning the loss of Rev. Fr. Stephen Opoku-Boaheng, affectionately known as Nana Nkoso, who passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
In a remarkable display of community spirit, Fr. Opoku-Boaheng was spotted attending the enstoolment ceremony of Akokofe Krontihene, Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II, on March 3, 2025.
The event took place at Akokofe, where Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II, a respected traditional leader and devoted Catholic, was enstooled as the Krontihene.
Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II, in his capacity as Akokofe Krontihene, has been known for promoting unity and development in the community.
Fr. Opoku-Boaheng’s presence at the enstoolment ceremony showcased his commitment to community and interfaith dialogue.
