Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi Assistant Youth Chaplain Encourages Young People to Utilize Their Talents for the Greater Good

The Assistant Youth Chaplain for the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, Rev.Fr. Edward Akwasi Gyebi, has urged young people to put their talents into good use, making them profitable to the Church, community, and the country at large.

Rev. Fr.Gyebi made this call at the 49th General Council Meeting held at Santasi Christian Village.

According to Rev. Fr.Gyebi, young people should not be afraid to use their talents due to fear of criticism. Instead, they should be willing to take risks, make mistakes, learn from them, and move forward.

“Don’t be afraid to use your talent because of criticism, make mistakes, learn from your mistakes and move forward and live in love, live in harmony with your fellow human,” he advised.

Rev.fr Gyebi’s message emphasizes the need to utilize one’s talents for the benefit of others. As stated in 1 Corinthians 4:7, “What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?” This highlights the need for young people to recognize their talents as gifts from God and use them to serve others.

By using their talents wisely, young people can contribute to a better world and fulfill their purpose in life.

As Rev. Fr. Gyebi encouraged, they should strive to live in love and harmony with others, leveraging their unique abilities to make a positive impact in their comm

unities.
