A devastating incident occurred in Nananom, Mankessim Highway near cemetery, within the Mfantseman Municipality, where a Voltic Cool sachet water delivery truck collided with three school children as they were attempting to cross the road to school.
The accident has resulted in the tragic death of one child and left another in critical condition.

In an interview with Oyerepa’s Mankata, A victim Elizabeth Mintah, a 11-year-old survivor of the accident, provided a harrowing account of the event.
She stated that while they were being assisted by another driver to cross the road, the sachet water truck driver was allegedly overtaking.
This action startled the children and contributed to the unfortunate collision.
Medical Response and Casualties: Dr. Berko Langa, the Medical Director of Roman Hospital, confirmed that the injured children were rushed to the facility for immediate treatment.
He sadly reported the death of one child and that another is in critical condition, receiving ongoing medical care.
