Businessman Petitions Speaker and Police Over Alleged Assassination Attempt.

Assassination attempt,a Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist Joseph Badu Boateng, known as Dada Joe, has filed a petition with the Ghana Police Service and Parliament Speaker Alban Bagbin. He alleges that Offinso North MP Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah orchestrated an attempt on his life.

The incident occurred on April 18, 2025, during a health walk in Nkenkaasu. Boateng claims his vehicle was blocked by a white Toyota Hilux pickup driven by Daniel Opoku, allegedly on the MP’s instructions.

 

Gunshots were then fired from the MP’s residence, striking Boateng’s vehicle.

Investigation and Evidence
Boateng has submitted photo and video evidence, calling for a thorough investigation.

According Dada Joe a businessman he Petitions to assassination attempt in the Offinso North Municipal Nkenkaasu to be presided, he urged the Ghana  police to hold those responsible accountable and stresses that no one should be above the law.

“This was a targeted and deliberate act meant to intimidate or eliminate me,” Boateng stated.
