“Brekum East MP Warns Constituents of Impersonation Scam”

The Member of Parliament for Brekum East, Hon. Simon Ampabeng, has issued a public warning to his constituents and the general public about a growing scam in which individuals are impersonating him on social media to solicit money from unsuspecting victims for fake job opportunities.

In an exclusive interview with Oyerepa TV, Hon. Ampabeng explained that some individuals have been duped into paying large sums of money to these impersonators, who claim to be able to secure them jobs through the MP’s influence.

The MP urged everyone to be cautious and vigilant, emphasizing that he would never request money from anyone for job opportunities or any other purpose.

He assured his constituents that he is committed to serving them and would never engage in such unscrupulous activities.

Hon. Ampabeng advised anyone who encounters suspicious individuals claiming to be him or soliciting money for fake job opportunities to report immediately to the authorities.

He assured the public that his office would take all necessary steps to protect his constituents from falling victim to these scams.

The MP urged everyone to verify the authenticity of any information or request purportedly coming from him before taking any action. This can be done by contacting his office directly or checking his official social media accounts.
