Three People, Including Two Toddlers, Die in Devastating Lorry Accident

A tragic accident has occurred at Adeiso in the Upper West Akyem district of the Eastern region, claiming the lives of three people, including two toddlers.

According to reports, a Toyota Hiace with registration number GE 6187-22, en route to Asamankese from Pokuase, was fully loaded when the driver lost control of the vehicle after the brakes failed.

In a desperate attempt to regain control, the driver steered the vehicle but unfortunately crashed into a bridge near the Adeiso police station. Several others injured in the accident are currently battling for their lives at Nsawam Hospital.

The Adeiso police have conveyed the deceased to the morgue for safekeeping, pending further investigation.
