Bosome Freho MP Warns of Potential Disaster Over Delayed Ablekuma North Election Results.

The Member of Parliament for Bosome Freho in the Ashanti region, Nana Kwame Asafo Adjei Ayeh, has issued a stern warning to Parliament and Ghanaians regarding the prolonged delay in declaring the Ablekuma North parliamentary election results.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Hon. Ayeh expressed concerns that the lingering issue could create tension and potentially lead to disaster in the lead-up to the 2028 elections.

The delay in declaring the results, which dates back to January 7, 2024, has prompted the Minority in Parliament to take action.
Recently, they marched to the Police Headquarters in Accra, petitioning for increased security presence during the declaration process.

Hon.Ayih emphasized that the continuous denial of representation for the people of Ablekuma North could have far-reaching consequences, drawing parallels to the unresolved SALL issue.

He urged the Electoral Commission to remain impartial and fulfill its mandate to declare the results without political interference.
The MP’s warning highlights the need for a swift resolution to the Ablekuma North election results impasse, ensuring the rights of the constituents are protected and the country’s electoral process remains stable.
