Best Youth Farmer Educates Abofour Farmers on Sustainable Agriculture Practices

 

Abofour, Offinso South -Mr. Anthony Poku Fordjour, a renowned youth farmer who  was a working under the  Ghana Cocoa Board,has shared valuable insights with farmers in Offinso Abofour on sustainable agriculture practices.

Mr.Anthony Fordjour, who was once working with the Ghana Cocoa Board and currently working under ministry of Agriculture has been recognized as the best youth farmer, covered topics such as crop and vegetable production, soil fertility maintenance, and productivity enhancement.

He also discussed good seed selection, pest and disease management, and fertilizer application with the farmers  in the offinso south municipal specifically Abofour and nearby communities.

For cocoa farmers, he shared tips on starting and managing cocoa farms, including artificial pollination and fertilizer application.

His message emphasized the dangers of galamsey and encouraged farmers to adopt sustainable practices.

The farmers appreciated Mr.Anthony Fordjour’s practical advice, which aimed to boost productivity and reduce environmental degradation.
