Atwima Kwanwoma Takes Bold Step Towards Environmental Restoration.

The Atwima Kwanwoma municipal assembly, in collaboration with Denmark Prime and supported by the Minerals Development Fund (MDF), has started reclaiming mining pits left by illegal miners at Nweneso No. 2.

The initiative aims to restore the environment and promote afforestation.

Chairman of the Reclamation Committee, Mr. Kingston Opoku Bediako, said this reflects the NDC government’s commitment to environmental restoration.

The municipal environmental officer, Mr. Ernest Boakye welcomed the initiative and appealed to traditional leaders and stakeholders to support the effort.

Denmark Prime’s managing partner, Mr Robert Dambo, assured the organization is ready to assist in reclaiming destroyed lands and urged other mining districts to do same.
