Asantehene’s Son Elected SRC President of Ghana School of Law.

Nana Opoku Ware, son of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has emerged victorious in the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) presidential election at the Ghana School of Law.

A 2024 alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and past student of Opoku Ware School (OWASS), Nana Opoku Ware secured a majority of votes in three out of the four campuses.

He secured a clear majority in three out of the four campuses, garnering 671 votes, which accounted for 35.1% of the total votes cast.

Nana Opoku Ware secured the position as SRC President.

The election results are as follows:
– *Nana Opoku Ware*: 671 votes (35.1%)
– *Festus Matey*: 527 votes (27.6%)
– *Michael Obiri-Adjei*: 379 votes (19.8%)
– *Benjamin Offei Addo*: 278 votes (14.5%)
– *Emmanuella Tetteh-Ashong*: 52 votes (2.7%).

The election outcome marks a significant achievement for Nana Opoku Ware, demonstrating his leadership capabilities and appeal to his peers.

As the newly elected SRC President, Nana Opoku Ware is expected to lead a student-focused administration, addressing the needs and concerns of the student body at the Ghana School of Law.
