Appiaduhemaa Advises Youth to Prioritize Healthy Relationships.

Kumasi, Ghana – Nana Gyamfua Amoonu I, Appiaduhemaa, has urged young people to focus on building healthy, single relationships rather than rushing into multiple partnerships or marriages.

Speaking during Archbishop Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye’s pastoral visit at Appiadu St. Paul Catholic Church, she emphasized the importance of self-discovery and emotional maturity in relationships.

“Being single allows individuals to understand their values, desires, and boundaries, leading to more fulfilling relationships in the future,” she said.

The Appiaduhemaa stressed that healthy relationships are built on trust, respect, and communication, and encouraged young people to prioritize these values.

She cautioned against societal pressures, urging the youth to take their time, focus on personal growth, and cultivate meaningful connections.

“A key foundation of a good relationship is for us to discover who we are before we take a step to go into a relationship.

So most often than not, it is within the relationship that we discover our individuality which should not be the case” he said.

Nana Amoonu Gyamfua I noted that for individuals to enjoy and maintain a healthy relationship, they should learn to discover who they really are and follow the above keys in order for them to get what they want.

Her advice comes as a reminder for young people navigating relationships in today’s fast-paced world.
