A/R. Police Arrest Two Suspects In Connection With Robbery And Murder At Tweapiase-Aboo.

 

The Ashanti South Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the robbery and murder of a 20 year old young man, Kofi Mensah, at Tweapiase-Aboo in the Amansie Central District of Ashanti Region.

The suspects, identified as Solomon Opoku and Collins Aboagye, were arrested following sustained intelligence led operations.

Speaking at the Police Press Conference held in Regional Headquarters, ACP Mr. Joseph Hammond Nyaaba, Regional Commander, explained that on 10th October, 2025, Suspect Solomon Opoku was arrested at Council Quarters in Obuasi when he attempted to sell the stolen motorbike.

Further investigation led to the arrest of his accomplice, Collins Aboagye, at Kokoteasua, also a suburb of Obuasi.

ACP Joseph Hammond Nyaaba, Regional Police Commissioner said.
