According to Linda, the 5 C’s method is an effective approach to ensuring food safety.
This method involves maintaining a clean environment and utensils through thorough cleaning, cooking food to the recommended temperature to kill harmful bacteria, chilling food at the right temperature to prevent bacterial growth, preventing cross-contamination by separating raw and ready-to-eat food, and communicating effectively with staff and clients about food safety practices.

Linda also stressed the importance of safe food transportation practices. She emphasized that caterers should use suitable containers and wrapping materials to prevent contamination and damage during transport.
Additionally, insulated containers should be used to keep food warm or cold, depending on the type of food being transported.
Furthermore, food should be transported in clean vehicles to prevent exposure to potential contaminants.

By following these best practices, caterers can ensure the delivery of safe and quality food to their clients.
This will not only protects the health and well-being of clients but also enhances the reputation and credibility of catering businesses.
