“50 Youths Receive Baptism and Confirmation in Joyful Ceremony”

 

Ahinsan – In a significant milestone for the youths of Ahinsan christ the king Parish, 50 young individuals received the sacraments of baptism and At confirmation one receives the gift of the Holy Spirit.This confirmation was done at Christ the King Parish-Ahinsan, strengthening their faith in a joyful ceremony.

Rev. Fr. Anthony Kwadwo Darko, Parish Priest, explained that baptism is a sacrament that initiates a person into the Christian faith, washing away original sin and welcoming them into the church.

Infant baptism, he noted, is the practice of baptizing infants, emphasizing God’s love and promise to the child. Confirmation, on the other hand, is a sacrament that strengthens and seals a person’s faith, typically received later in life.

Most Rev. Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye, Metropolitan Archbishop of Kumasi, presided over the ceremony.

Fr. Darko urged the youths and all Christians to remain committed to their faith, stressing that the church is their path to salvation.

The event marked a pivotal moment in the spiritual lives of the youths, filling the parish with joy and celebration.
