The Wa Circuit Court, handed down the verdict on June 5, 2025.
In February 2025, Gyida and another masked individual robbed a victim of a blue Honda motorbike valued at GHC 20,000, a Tecno mobile phone valued at GHC 1,300, and cash amounting to GHC 10,800.
Through intelligence-led operations, Gyida was arrested on June 1, 2025, at Domowa, in the Wa-West District.
This conviction is a testament to the Command’s unwavering commitment to protecting the community and upholding the law.
The convict robbed a victim of a motorbike, phone, and cash in February 2025.
